Please use the following guidelines for entering data on the KYP entry forms:
 

Last Name

Put in the last name as you were known in Kerosinka.  If your last name changed during your Kerosinka years, but that second last name is different from your current one, you may put it in using slash (/) as a separator. Example: Katya X got married in the middle of her first Kerosinka year and since then she was known as Katya Y.  However, nowadays she is Katya Z.  She may put either X or X/Y in the Last Name field and Z in the Current Last Name field. But if she is still Katya Y now, she should enter X in the Last Name field and Y as the Current Last Name.

Put in your current last name only if it is different from the one entered in Last Name field.

Put in the first name as you were known in Kerosinka.

Put in your current first name only if it is different from the one entered in First Name field.

Put in all the groups you studied at separated by commas.  The group name should consist of the speciality abbreviation and a year of the enrollment, separated by dash (-), for example: PM-81.  If you prefer, you can put the full group specification as in PM-81-2.  People who studied in multiple groups, please DO NOT abbreviate like this: PM-80,81 or this: ATM,PM-81.  Please, put it in full: PM-80,PM-81 and ATM-81,PM-81.  This way it is more suitable for searches.

Members of Kerosinka teaching staff should put "Professor of Kerosinka".

Put in your current address(es).  Please do not forget to specify the country.  For some reason our fellow Kerosinschiks living in the US and Russia often omit the country, which makes such entries unusable for searches and statistics by country.

Put in your e-mail address(es).  Please put only one e-mail address per field.

Put in full URL of your home page in the following form: http://this.is.my.domain/mydirectory/myfile.  If you have multiple home pages, please select and put in this field URL of only one of them: otherwise at this time the system will not be able to link to your home page correctly.

Put in your phone number(s), fax numbers, etc.  As our database is global, it is preferrable to use the universal format for phone numbers as follows: +country_code (area_code) local_number.
Examples: +1 (212) 555-1212, +7 (095) 123-45-67, +972 (3) 123-456.

Put in your family status. You may indicate a number of children following the plus (+) sign.  If your spouse is also a Kerosinka alumni, you may put a reference to him/her in the following format:
(cf. First Name(Current First Name) Last Name (Current Last Name))

Put in your current occupation.

You may indicate your advanced degree, the discipline, the institution and the year it is obtained.  Example: PhD in Computer Science, Columbia University, 1995.
